We are looking to hire a Custodial Worker to join our Lux Row team in Bardstown, KY. Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, this position is responsible for landscaping the grounds and ensuring the facility remains clean and orderly on a daily basis.

What will you do?

Maintenance 

• Perform all landscaping for the grounds including taking care of all plants, providing lawn care and any removal of leaves or yard waste.
• Inspect campus grounds to ensure cleanliness including weed removal, trash pickup and snow shoveling as needed.
• Perform a variety of routine manual duties as required such as moving supplies, furniture, equipment, removing trash, scrap material and replacing light bulbs.
• Wipe down manufacturing equipment and pick up debris on production floor.

Janitorial 

• Clean facility daily (operations area and Visitor Center) includes but not limited to sweeping, mopping, trash collection, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows.
• Clean the drain grates weekly or as needed. 
• Empty the outside trash cans and cigarette butt container.
• Sweep and maintain outdoor areas by picking up trash and debris daily.
• Mop up spills during the day and sweep and mop plant floor, offices and visitor areas on weekly basis.
• Ensure all restrooms are stocked on toilet paper, soap and paper towels, etc. 

Safety Compliance

• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep manufacturing equipment wiped down and pick up debris on production floor. 
• Comply with all necessary Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safety requirements. 

Customer Service 

• Establish a courteous and professional relationship when interacting with other company personnel, vendors, contractors and/or customers

What do you need to bring to the table?

• A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 
• At least on year of janitorial experience preferred. 
• Ability to work independently and be organized.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds over head. 
• Ability to time manage.
